Dan Workenaour – November 20, 2020
There is no doubt the novel corona virus has taken hold of our lives in one way or another. Protecting ourselves and our family is our first priority. We want to do everything, but hesitate if we should. I have to admit, most of us do what we want, but take precautions.
Governor Evers has mandated masks to be worn in closed spaces and outside if we are within 6 feet of another. The exception is immediate family. This is not a law, but highly suggestive. Many business has set up their protocols. That is their prerogative.
Many states has set up travel restrictions. If you plan on traveling, visit this CDC site to obtain information on your state and other states. You may have to stay during their requested quarantine period before you can leave.
Some has claimed this is the beginning of the end of the world. In other words, the rapture. According to many who has studied the Book of Revelation, it is not. According to Luke 21, “There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.”
Even if philosophers, ministers, priests, and chaplains believe this is not the time, it is suggested to repent your sins and “trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all of your ways, acknowledge Him, and he will make your paths straight”. Proverbs 3: 5, 6
It does not hurt to be prepared for anything. Semper Paratus.
